An Old City Philadelphia Elopement Amidst Coronavirus

Sabina and Harsh had beautiful wedding day planned for the last weekend in March but when the Coronavirus hit the Philadelphia area and things began shutting down, they quickly changed their Old City Philly Micro Wedding into an elopement so that they could have some beautiful photos to document the start of this next chapter. On a cool Sunday, they slipped into their wedding attire, did a sweet first look in the gardens around 2nd National Bank and then took some time to do some incredible sweet photos together. Was it what they had planned on? No. But it was special and sweet and so full of love none the less. They still plan on having a celebration later this year, but for now an elopement will have to do. And you know what? The entire time I was with them there was the same sentiment echoed over and over by all of us, “we are all doing the best we can.” And its a great reminder that even amidst uncertain, scary and unprecedented times, we can find moments of joy and celebration and love. And that we are all doing the best we can, even if this so so hard.

Enjoy some of my favorites of their beautiful Philly Elopement and to the couples out there struggling with this as well, may you find ways to find joy amidst sorrow and stress as well. <3.
