Savannah - A Plus Size Body Positive Boudoir Session

There are some people who walk into your life and then run straight into your heart. And Savannah is one of those people for me. I originally shared these Philadelphia Boudoir images over on AmandaSwiger.com but I recently have been working on sharing more of my boudoir work here too and knew this was a session I had to share. Savannah is the picture of the power and magic of boudoir. Her first session was filled with nerves and insecurities, something that practically every clients first session is full of, but she blossomed into a babe full of confidence in front of my eyes. I have sense had the honor and privileged of photographing her 3 more times and every time she peels back another layer, leaning into the understanding that she is worthy, sexy, incredible, beautiful and enough. And ya’ll nothing makes me feel more grateful for this job than that.

When we moved into our new studio space, Savannah and I adventured to Ikea and set up some things in the studio and then afterward, I convinced her (there was so much convincing that happened ya’ll - JUST KIDDING haha) to let me take some shots of her in the studio. While I love all of my photos of this babe, these are some of my favs because she is not wearing makeup, we’ve thrown some outfits on her and its just this easy sense that she is a strong, badass woman in all her glory. And I am living for it!

I also wanted to take this as an opportunity to let ya’ll in on a little announcement. Savannah is going to be joining the Swiger Photography team in a lot of cool ways this year!!!! You might see her at a wedding with me, helping out at mini sessions, doing BTS photos and videos, doing some of the post processing work for our photos and even helping with social media and other fun stuff. I am not one who takes help easily, or worse, admits I need it. But there is something about Savannah that I trust and know that my clients, my brand, my business baby are in good hands. She is funny as hell, sweet, kind, just enough sassy to keep up with me and the kind of person you wanna spend a Saturday drinking wine on a rooftop with. You will love her ya’ll. I sure as hell do. And I am ever grateful that she decided to come along for this adventure with me and Swiger Photography. Oh, and eventually we will get her real headshots, but for now, enjoy some of my fav pics from this session with her!!
